A Lecturer in the Department of Medical Laboratory Sciences and holds a bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory science, MSc. in Medical Histopathology and Cytology and PhD in for his Master’s and doctorate studies. He is a KMLTTB registered member with current practicing license-A07881. His academic and research interests are biological determinants of quality of life of prostate cancer patients, Genetic profiles of aggressive and resistant familial prostate cancer patients, Prostate cancer economic burden and Surveillance. Techniques: Immunohistochemistry, Histopathology, PCR, RNASeq, FISH, Microtomy, Microscopy, SPSS, R, Microsoft, Scientific writing, Whole genome Analysis. His major scholarly contribution was defining prostein immunohistochemical analysis in diagnosis of prostate cancer in western Kenya. He has published 3 manuscripts in peer reviewed refereed journals. He has been engaged in Grant writing and submitted two applications, NRF and NCI-NRF cancer research call in 2023 and 2024 respectively. He currently serves as the Coordinator of Medical laboratory science program in the department of Medical Laboratory sciences as well as member of the University, career education, mentorship and industrial attachment committee.
